Give Your Child a Head Start

What is Head Start?
Head Start is a Federal program that serves children between the ages of three and five from low-income families. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational, indoor and outdoor activities. The Head Start curriculum is aligned with the Texas Pre-Kindergarten curriculum guidelines. Children are also provided with a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack. Services are offered to meet the special needs of children with disabilities. Income eligible children with diagnosed disabilities are given priority for enrollment.
