Main activities include planning and training for law enforcement.   The Regional Law Enforcement Academy provides training for both new and experienced law enforcement personnel.   Courses offered vary from Basic Law Enforcement and Jailer certification to continuing education to keep officers up to date.

Funding assistance is provided to help local governments obtain financial assistance for special programs.
