Community and Economic Development Assistance Fund (CEDAF)
CVCOG administers this program for the Office of Rural Community Affairs. Regional Services staff aids local cities, counties or other local government agencies in acquiring a variety of information from grants available to demographic information needed to complete those grant applications.
The CVCOG staff is also available to aid in grant applications to the Office of Rural Community Affairs Texas Community Development Program Grants. These grants are available for local governments to do infrastructure projects. The Regional Review Committee;(RRC) is appointed by the Governor of the State of Texas. The RRC develops regional procedures and scores applications.
CVCOG provides data from the U. S. Census Bureau and the State Data Center. Data and reports are available on a group of interest areas.

Summary File 3: Detailed Information on Population and Housing. Answers questions such as marital status, grandparents as caregivers, language spoken, number of bedrooms, year structure was built, plumbing and kitchen facilities.
