The CVCOG Procurement Department holds the responsibility and accountability related to the expenditure of public funds in the highest regard. Therefore, the we work to ensure timely and efficient acquisition of goods and/or services at the best value for the CVCOG that are consistent with good business practices. One of our main goals is to maintain fair, equitable, and competitive purchasing procedures in accordance with Federal and State laws, regulations, and applicable local codes for vendors interested in doing business with the CVCOG or any of its programs.

We encourage the participation of qualified vendors in the bidding process, emphasizing opportunities for small businesses, HUB and DBE vendors, and minority and/or women owned businesses.

Projects and requirements for the CVCOG and its programs vary widely and as a result, this creates a strong need to rely upon the Concho Valley business and contractor community to meet its needs.
